Love this place for some exercise and to get out and take pictures of birds. There are a lot of birds at the Farm that you don't see around the area. There is a lot of history in and around the farm. There are hiking trails that lead all the way to the Chattahoochee River and you can follow the trails for a few mile hike. There are some good hills down towards the river, so you can get your heart rate up a good bit.
Such a beautiful place! It's a good place to walk with children or dogs and the playground is very nice.
Excellent park! Great place to jog, walk your dog, and just enjoy nature. Highlights include a scenic pond with two vibrant water fountains, a covered bridge, shady nature trails that loop by the river, and a play ground for children. Various signs are posted along each path telling the history of the area or explaining the plant life.🪴
Like most parks in the region, this one is well-maintained with much thought to the details of its design. Highly recommend spending an afternoon here when you have the chance! Well worth your time.
Great park but not the best place to launch rockets...if you look around at the trees in the main field, you'll see many decaying rockets that unfortunately got stuck because the filled isn't big enough. (Or something failed with the rocket) I like how this is a dog-friendly park and tend to see many playing around.
We took our dog on a walk here. The trails are nice and primarily shaded. Cute little creek and bridge at the entrance. This is also right on the river so if you have a kayak or tube, def a great place to launch. We will def be coming back here as a weekend tradition to walk our pup. We saw other dogs too but the owners all had them leashed which was nice.
Love it. It's a hidden gem. Would never have expected such a fun and well-maintained park that's located off of a busy road. Isolated spots from the hustle and bustle that make you one with nature. Perfect for picnics and meditation.
Absolutely gorgeous place with impressive and scenic walking trails for a roadside park. In fact, in fact the trails are so diverse and scenic that once you get far enough on them you almost forget how close you are to civilization. I saw wonderful little trailside patches of green where one could read, sunbathe, workout, almost anything. The maintenance staff was very friendly and helpful as well and I love the Chattahoochee history it teaches you along the trail. Just a wonderful place (p.s. the dog loved it equally)
This park is great for long walks on the trail, there’s access to the Chattahoochee river, and a nice size children’s playground with public restrooms. Very large park with lots of great people enjoying many different activities! Lots of dog owners walking around also.
